Privacy

What we collect

• Listing data you submit: URL or X handle, category, platform, and the bid amount. We also fetch public page title, description, and favicon from that URL so the card can render.
• Payment records we need to rank the board: dollar amount, time, and Polar checkout id so the same payment is not counted twice. Bid amounts and times are shown on the public listing.
• Click counts when someone uses our redirect to open a listing.
• An anonymous session id in your browser's local storage, pinged periodically so we can show how many people are on the board. It is not tied to your name or Polar account.
• A rough visitor counter. We do not run advertising cookies or sell personal data.

What is public

Listings are a public leaderboard. Title, URL, category, bid, rank, click count, and bid history are visible to anyone. Do not list a page you do not want indexed or copied. See the Rules and Terms.

Payments (Polar)

Checkout runs on Polar. Polar is the merchant of record. Polar and its processors (including card networks) collect what they need to charge you: email, billing details, payment method, tax location, and IP used at checkout. TopBill does not store your card number.

Polar's practices are in the Polar Privacy Policy and Checkout Buyer Terms. After you pay, Polar tells our servers that the checkout succeeded so we can place the bid.

Processors we use

The site is hosted on Vercel. Listing and payment rows are stored in Supabase (Postgres). Polar handles checkout. Those providers process data in the regions they operate, under their own terms.

Cookies

TopBill does not set advertising cookies. Polar's checkout page may set cookies Polar needs to complete payment. The online counter uses local storage, not a tracking pixel.

Retention and requests

Public listings stay until we remove them under the Terms. Session pings age out quickly and are only used for the live count. If you want a listing taken down, contact the operator of topbill.lol. For Polar receipts, email, or card data, contact Polar — we cannot pull that from our database because we never stored it.

Children

TopBill is not directed at children under 16. Do not pay or list if you are not old enough to form a contract and complete Polar checkout in your country.
